I do research in Cosmology, mainly with data coming from the Planck satellite (an ESA mission) and from the Quijote experiment, a ground-based telescope.
I am co-author of more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals, and have given talks in more than 10 international conferences, 5 of which were under invitation by the organizers.
I have ample expertise in analysis of big data sets, statistical techniques (parameter estimation, Monte-Carlo simulations...), and software coding (using C++, F90, Python, IDL). I am member of different international scientific collaborations (two ESA satellites: Planck and Euclid; Quijote,LOFAR), where I have been leader of different research projects. I collaborate closely with other scientific groups in the UK, Italy, France and Germany. During my work at the University of Cambridge I was the project manager of the VSA, a scientific collaboration of around 35 researchers, and currently I am head of operations of the Quijote telescope.
