Gregory S. Mitchell (S'88–M'94–SM'00) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1988, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 1989 and 1994, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He is currently the Director of the Space Systems Department with The Aerospace Corporation, Chantilly, VA. His research interests include, radar signal design and detection theory, bandwidth efficient modulation, and smart antenna technology.
