Graham Machin

Current research interests are primary thermometry (acoustic and radiometric), radiation thermometry and thermal imaging, new thermocouples, sensor self-validation methods, clinical thermometry (contact, non-contact and internal), reliable temperature measurement in hostile environments. He is the current project director of EMPIR “Realising the redefined kelvin”, a founder member of the UK "Body Temperature Measurement Group" and NPL science lead for nuclear decommissioning metrology.
