个人简介
I live and thrive in the space between science and engineering. As a scientist I have sought to broaden and fill the gaps in knowledge regarding the pathology of diseases and disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, photoaging, and candidiasis. While as an engineer, I have developed antifungal plastics to prevent urinary tract infections, created models for simple, safe, and fast UV sterilization of N95 masks for reuse in local hospitals, and developed mechanical devices for assessing the integrity of biological tissues. The connection between the two lies in my passion to understand, solve and prevent the medical issues of today so that we can live healthier, longer lives. This cannot be achieved alone, so I seek to maximize my contributions by asking the right questions, sharing knowledge and collaborative partnerships. Currently I am working to develop the skin microbiome and hygiene program at Firmenich.
