Giorgio De Luca

Viviana De Luca was born in Messina, Italy, in 1985. She received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Messina, Messina, in 2008, and the M.S. degree in automation engineering and control of complex systems from the University of Catania, Catania, Italy, in 2011, where she is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in system engineering with the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering. She performed a stage at STMicroelectronics, Catania, in 2013, where she was involved in the design and simulation of power electronics modules. In 2014, she was a Visiting Assistant in Research with the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, USA, where she conducted research on Neural Network modeling of polymers actuators. Her current research interests include FEM multiphysics modeling of ionic-polymeric devices and thermal modeling of power modules.
