My current research efforts are focused on biochemical, anti-oxidative and toxicological effects of medicinal plants and their uses for managing diseases such as diabetes, cancer, hypertension, haematological and nephrological problems. At the same time, I also consider the identification, isolation and characterization of active components of the medicinal plants with the use of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and their biological activities in rats.
