Frédéric Guilloud

Frédéric Guilloud was born in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, France, in 1975. He received the degree in electronics engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Electronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA), France, in 1998, the Ph.D. degree in signal and communications from Telecom ParisTech, entitled Generic Architecture for LDPC Codes Decoding, in 2004, and the Habilitation a Diriger des Recherches (French Habilitation - HDR) degree from the Universite de Bretagne Occidentale, in 2016. He was a student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS Cachan). He has been an Associate Professor in electronics and power electronics, since 1999. He joined the Signal and Communications Department, IMT Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire (formerly Telecom Bretagne), as an Associate Professor, in 2004, and as a Full Professor, in 2017. He was a Visiting Researcher with the Institute for Communications Engineering, Technical University of Munich, in 2017, for which he received the PRESTIGE/Marie Curie Fellowship and the DAAD Fellowship. His research and teaching activities are focused on error correcting codes and digital communications including constant amplitude phase modulations, with a special emphasis on short frame communications.
