Research:
Condensed matter physics, ultrafast THz spectroscopy, nonlinear dynamics, terahertz scanning tunneling microscopy, time-resolved photoluminescence, THs source development interaction of THz and biological samples.
In 2007, he formed the Ultrafast Nanotools Lab for exploring ultrafast processes over nanometer length scales. He is currently a Professor in Physics with research interests in terahertz pulse spectroscopy of nanomaterials, ultrafast dynamics in nanomaterials, ultrafast imaging, ultrafast nanoprobes, THz-STM, THz pulse generation, terahertz nonlinear dynamics, and biomedical applications of intense terahertz pulses.
