Francisco Torres Perez

His research focuses mainly on international migration and on urban sociology. In the sociology of migration, his lines of research are the process of insertion in urban and rural areas, with several axes (labour, sociability and inter-ethnic relations, immigrants’ strategies, public policies, etc.). In urban sociology, his work focuses on the impacts of neo-liberal urbanism, processes of gentrification and exclusion, and urban inequality, with particular attention to ethnic minorities.
