Francis Minvielle retired in 2013 from the "Genetique Animale et Biologie Integrative" (GABI) Department of the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) Animal Genetics Division. He maintains some involvement on Japanese quail Genetics and Genomics. His book "Principes d'Amelioration Genetique des Animaux Domestiques" is widely accessed in Research Gate by French reading scientists. Over the years, his contributions have been read in over 170 countries.
