Francesco Vicario (M’15) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy, in 2004 and 2006, respectively, the M.S. degree in operations research and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Since 2015, he has been a Research Scientist at Philips Research North America, Briarcliff Manor, NY. His main area of research is system identification, with applications in biomedical, aerospace and civil engineering.
