- 2014-present: Head of the Section IBBR-PA of the Institute of Biosciences and BioResources of the National Research Council, Italy: Leads a team of researchers conducting molecular and cell biology researches on woody and herbaceous plants for genetic improvement and conservation of the main Mediterranean crops. Supervises PhD and Master theses of affiliated staff at the Institute of Plant Genetics, University of Palermo, University of Padua, CIHEAM IAMB - Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari, University of Tehran and University Bounaama Djilali of Khemis-Miliana Algeria. Main working field is genetics, breeding, and molecular markers for cultivar identification and biotechnologies for genetic and sanitary improvement of different plant species.
