Full-time clinical associate professor and previous chairman of the PharmD program at the School of Pharmacy in the Lebanese International University (LIU). Currently serves as the school leader in the office of international relations. Chairman of the student services and academic policies committee within the accreditation committee of the school of pharmacy. Member in the development committee of the school’s strategic planning and other quality processes including key performance indicators. Chairs the curriculum committee and serves in several additional committees including the research and grievance committees. Registered pharmacist (RPh) in the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists (OPL), and member in the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP). Holds both a BPharm and PharmD degrees from the Lebanese International University (LIU, ACPE certified), Beirut, Lebanon. Also holds a Master of Public Health (concentration: methodology and statistics in biomedical and epidemiological research) from the Lebanese University - Université Paris-Saclay (double degree). Currently undergoing PhD in pathology and clinical research with concentration on pharmacotherapy and pharmacoepidemiology at Université Paris-Est Créteil, Institut Mondor de Recherche Biomédicale, Créteil, France. Has extensive clinical practice experience, and greater than 10 years in pharmacy education with many published papers in reputable peer review journals and international conferences. Teaches/ taught pharmacotherapy of infectious diseases, pulmonary and rheumatology, interpretations of laboratory data, non-prescription drugs, pharmacy seminar, and introduction to drug information. Precepts BPharm and PharmD students in the introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences.
