Assoc Prof. Dr. Florin Graur– obtained a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences in 2007 from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca (UMF), master degree in Health Management from University Lucian Blaga – Sibiu. He has 23 years’ experience in general surgery and also in research. Since 2005 he was Assistant Professor at UMF in Surgical Department and from 2019 he was acknowledged as Associate Professor. His research has led to a total of 72 ISI articles (H-Index 12) – from a total of 97 articles, 5 books as editor, 30 chapters in national and international books, 14 national grants (5 as director or responsible), 4 patents and 4 principal investigator in clinical studies. Relevant experience in the topic of the project: during the last 14 years he was involved as coordinator or member in national projects focused on developing laparoscopic techniques.
