Florian Thieben

Florian Thieben received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg, Germany, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. His master’s thesis was on the development of a compact magnetic particle spectrometer with gradiometric receive chain. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Institute for Biomedical Imaging, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, and the Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg. His research interests include hardware development on the upscaling of magnetic particle imaging (MPI) systems for human use and MPI receive chain calibration.
