Felipe Saraiva

MSc. Felipe Betoni Saraiva is currently a PhD student in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC)-Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) and a public health technician at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. He has experience in the areas of Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. In the last five years he has been working on research and development projects of immunobiologicals for the treatment of infections caused by multiresistant bacteria, such as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and Acinetobacter baumannii. The latter, central focus of his PhD project. Felipe Betoni Saraiva received a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Biological Chemistry) from the Institute of Medical Biochemistry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015), a degree in Pharmacy (2009) with a qualification in Industrial Pharmacy (2013) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and technical education in a Pharmaceutical Laboratory at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (2004).
