个人简介
Federica Bianco received the M.Sc. degree in physical and astrophysical sciences from the Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, Florence, Italy, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the Universitá degli Studi di Trento, Trento, Italy, in 2013.
During her Ph.D., she studied the optical nonlinearities in engineered strained silicon waveguides for mid-infrared (MIR) and THz micro-sources development, as well as she investigated the micro-Raman spectroscopy by the induced mechanical strain in such systems. In 2013, she joined, as a Postdoc, the Istituto Nanoscienze of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Pisa, Italy, where she mainly worked in THz waves–graphene interaction, as nonlinear optical material and active material in THz detectors (within Graphene Flagship Project). In 2018, she got a permanent position as a Researcher with Istituto Nanoscienze, CNR. Her research activity is mainly devoted to the application of 2-D materials in optics and optoelectronics devices for THz applications, in energy storage, and in mastering the thermal transport in superconductor-based devices.
