Fan Yang received the M.Eng. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2015. He currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland. His research interests are gas sensing with optical fibers, photonic crystal fibers, and fiber optic sensors.
