Fabrice Wilhelm

Fabrice Wilhelm received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Experimental Physics, Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2000. His Ph.D. focused on the magnetic properties of ultrathin thin films, coupled trilayers, and 3d/5d multilayers studied by X-ray magnetic circular dichroism was awarded the Ernst-Eckhard-Koch prize. He joined the ID12 beamline team at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), Grenoble, France, in 2001. As a Beamline Scientist, his major scientific interests focus on the development and use of X-ray magnetic circular dichroism to study magnetic materials under multiple extreme conditions of high magnetic field, low temperatures, and high pressure.
