Heremans F Joseph

F. Joseph Heremans (Member, IEEE) received the B.S.E. degree in computer engineering and the B.M. degree in music theory from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 2006 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in 2013. He is currently a Staff Scientist in the Quantum Metamaterials Lab, Argonne National Laboratory, Argonne, IL, USA and a visiting Scientist at the Institute for Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. His research interests focus on materials for solid-state quantum information processing and their integration into hybrid quantum systems.
