Bio
Franco Di Paolo (A'93) received the Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Roma “La Sapienza,” Rome, Italy, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy, in 2004.
He has spent several years as a Microwave Circuit Designer in industry with Elettronica S.p.A. and Telit. He is currently with the University of Roma “Tor Vergata,” Rome, Italy. His research interests concern applied electromagnetism, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier design, oscillators, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and nanotechnologies.
Dr. Di Paolo is a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), the IEEE Circuits and System (CAS) Society, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTT-S), and the IEEE Solid-State Circuits (SSC) Society.
