My main objective is to investigate the relation between the mechanical properties of the extracellular matrix (ECM) and cells in peritoneal metastases(PM) from colorectal carcinoma. Another important part of my research is to develop new protocols and approach which allow to use AFM in studying nanomechanical properties of biological samples. Methods: -Atomic Force Microscopy -culture of cells, spheroids and organoids -preparation of ECM and in vivo engineered PM lensions from clinical samples.
