I am particularly interested in the regulation of human metabolism and the metabolic changes caused by disease states, diet, nutritional supplements, and physical activity. Most of my research investigates physiological mechanisms involved in applying dietary interventions to prevent and treat chronic diseases (e.g. Cancer, Obesity, Sarcopenia, and Type 2 Diabetes).
