Her research activity focuses around programming languages, with particular reference to logic languages and their extensions towards modular and object-oriented programming. Her research has covered implementation, application and theoretical aspects. She also works to the development of Artificial Intelligence applications in the field of design, scheduling, control, and computer vision. On these research topics, she is the author of several papers, published on international journals and international conference proceedings.
