I’m interested in understanding biodiversity patterns and the processes that have shaped them. My research has focused on studying genomic data from a variety of organisms (e.g. bacteria, invertebrates, vertebrates) at the individual and population level. Using bioinformatic tools, I am not only looking for causes of biodiversity but also interested in finding biological products that allow for remediation, conservation and sustainable use of ecosystems.
