Ettore Biondi

Ettore Biondi received the B.S. degree in geology from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy, in 2010, the M.S. degree in geophysics from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2012, the Diploma degree in computational chemistry from the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Pisa, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2021. He spent almost two years as a Research Fellow at the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, within the Geophysics Section of the Earth Science Department. In the summer of 2014, he joined the Stanford Exploration Project. During his Ph.D. degree, he worked on multiparameter inversion and wave-equation velocity estimation methods. Also, he worked on synthetic aperture radar data processing and ultrasound medical applications. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher within the California Institute of Technology Seismological Laboratory, Pasadena, CA, USA, working on distributed acoustic sensing recordings for seismological applications.
