Bio
Looking for talented Ph.D's and Post-docs to join our group and study oxide glass plasticity at room temperature.
My main work concentrates on studying the fundamental mechanical properties of ceramic materials. Deformation mechanisms are studied using in situ electron microscopy. This involves overcoming challenges and finding new routes in processing of ceramics and using atomistic simulations and finite element simulations to understand and verify in situ test results.
