Erin Hennegan Strasser

I study the ecology and natural history of migratory birds of North America, notably grassland songbirds and American kestrels. My research and conservation efforts have focused on understanding drivers of bird population declines across the full annual cycle. In this field I aim to fill knowledge gaps especially during the nonbreeding season and to sustain collaborative partnerships by sharing and absorbing knowledge, resources, and perspectives.
