Bio

I am a PhD student in environmental sciences at the chair of ecosystem physiology. I am mainly interested in wether and how plants can mediate external stressors through adjustments in carbon distribution towards different metabolic processes. As part of the B2WALD project I started my PhD with investigating carbon partitioning towards CO2 and VOC emissions in a controlled tropical ecosystem - specifically in leaves and roots - under drought stress.
