个人简介
Erich Baker received the Undergraduation degree from the University of Notre Dame and performed his graduate work with Barry University and the University of Tennessee. His Postdoctoral work with Oak Ridge National Laboratory addressed data integration across the numerous domains and data types common in high-throughput science. he joined as a Faculty with Baylor University in 2002 where he is currently a Professor of Bioinformatics and serves as the Chair of the Department of Computer Science. He is the lead developer for GeneWeaver and the Monkey Alcohol and Tissue Research Resource, community resources designed to apply data analysis tools to distributed heterogeneous data. His current research interests include distributed biological databases, machine learning applications in complex networks, and applications of graph theoretical principles in the identification of disease-phenotype relationships.
