Eric Chatelet

Eric Chatelet received the PhD degree in mechanical engineering from the Franche-Comté University, Besancon, France, in 1994. Since 1997, he has been an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, INSA Lyon, France. His research interests in the Laboratory of Mechanics of Contacts and Structures (LaMCoS, UMR CNRS 5259, INSA Lyon) include the vibrations and dynamics of rotating structures. They focus on damping, on the testing of on board systems, and the dynamics of contacts, with many applications in disc-blades assemblies, in energy transfer and in tactile perception (friction-induced vibrations).
