Enrique Melgoza-Vazquez

Enrique Melgoza Vázquez (S'93–M'96–SM'10) was born in Morelia, Mexico, in 1967. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia (ITM), Michoacán, Mexico, in 1994 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Bath, Bath, U.K., in 2001, all in electrical engineering. He is a member of the Faculty with the Programa de Graduados e Investigación en Ingeniería Eléctrica, ITM. His professional experience includes several positions as a Distribution Engineer, and consulting and training for several electricity-related companies in Mexico and abroad. His research interests include finite-element analysis of electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic transients.
