Enrico Casella

Enrico Casella (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in computer and telecommunication engineering and the M.S. degree in computer engineering from the University of Palermo, Italy, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in computer science with the University of Kentucky, USA. His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cyber–physical systems in a variety of multidisciplinary areas, such as precision farming and smart grids. His research interests include leveraging machine learning to exploit the patterns inherently present in these domains, applying optimization techniques to carry out domain-specific objectives, designing algorithm to evaluate trade-offs in resource-constrained environments, and developing data analysis pipelines. He has coauthored seven peer-reviewed scientific articles and two scientific abstracts.
