His research interests include nanophotonics with emphasis on plasmonics, integrated photonic devices on silicon, nonlinear phenomena, optical micro-structured fibers, advanced computational techniques for the analysis and design of photonic devices and circuits, liquid crystal photonics and diffractive optical elements.
He is an IEEE Senior Member and also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
