Emma Nicole Taylor

In 2022, completed my PhD at Aberystwyth Uni researching the use of metabolomic approaches to improve the detection of Johne's Disease in dairy cattle. This research led to 50 patented metabolites and 5 peer-reviewed papers. Since joining PAN Livestock, my research has focused on using milk recording data and social science approaches to assess trends in Johne’s Disease and examine how key performance indicators may influence a farmer’s decision to remove first lactation cows from the herd.
