Emanuele Simioni

Emanuele Simioni currently works at the Astronomical Observatory of Padova/Asiago, National Institute of Astrophysics. His research activities within the imaging and 3D models field encompass image analysis and processing, passive 3D reconstruction techniques (stereo, silhouette, shading based) for generation of 3D models and geometrical imaging methods for the astronomic applications. My principal experience is with: • 3D stereo reconstruction methods applied in polyhedral fields; • Satellite Optics calibration throw optic classical methods improved by computer graphics new approaches • Matlab programming oriented o science analysis of 3D models of planetary and minor body surfaces.
