个人简介
Elizabeth Denney-Wilson is conjoint Professor of Nursing in the Sydney Local Health District and Sydney Nursing School. She has academic qualifications in nursing, public health and epidemiology. Since completing her PhD in 2005, her research has focused on obesity prevention and management with a focus on the development of brief interventions (including mHealth interventions) that can be translated to routine practice. Her research funding has included a Centre of Research Excellence grant as well as other category 1 funding. Elizabeth has long term collaborations with researchers across a broad range of health disciplines from UNSW, Deakin, UTS and QUT. Her role in the Sydney Local Health District centres around research capacity building and she runs short courses and clinics in research training. She currently supervises 8 PhD students and mentors a number of senior nurses embarking on research projects.
