个人简介
Elio Jannelli received the B.A. degree (with honors) in mechanical engineering from the University of Naples, Naples, Italy, and the M.S. degree in energy management and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy, in 1982 and 1987, respectively.
Upon receiving the Ph.D. degree, he started working with the Department of Energy, University of Naples. From 1988 to 2008, he was with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Cassino, Cassino, Italy, where he was an Assistant Professor from 1988 to 1998, an Associate Professor from 1998 to 2001, and a Full Professor from 2001 to 2008. Since 1996, he has supervised the activities of the Power Generation and Engine Laboratory, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Cassino. Since 2008, he has been a Full Professor with the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Parthenope University of Naples, Naples. He carries out basic and applied research in the following fields: energy-saving, cogeneration, and high-efficiency power plants; advanced hydrogen energy systems (fuel cell fuel processor for hydrogen generation); and internal combustion engines fueled with hydrocarbons and hydrogen mixtures. He has coauthored more than 80 international scientific publications and has served as a Referee for several journals and international congresses. He has been coordinating several research projects with public institutions and private companies.
