Raed Elferjani

My research work focuses on the environmental physiology of annual and woody crops. I have been investigating the effect of changes in the abiotic environment on traits related to photosynthetic carbon assimilation and their effect on growth and yield. For this purpose, I am using gas exchange measurements (gas infrared analyzer), spectral measurements (NDVI, thermal imaging..) and metabolic profiling. Currently, I am evaluating the consequences of heat and drought on gas exchanges and final product quality in plants with a focus on spring canola (Brassica napus L.) and Populus sp.
