Eleni Zetou

Dr Eleni Zetou, Professor Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Democritus University of Thrace 69100 Komotini Greece e-mail address: elzet@phyed.duth.gr Dr Eleni Zetou is Professor in motor learning and Volleyball at the Democritus University of Thrace in Komotini, and Volleyball coach. She is a scientific collaborator in the field of training of D.U.TH., specializing in practicing methods in learning sport skills (modelling-contextual interference-psychology skills) and teaching Volleyball. She has been a volleyball player for more than 20 years and played for the national team from 1972-1982. As a team member, she played in one European Championship Cup, two European Cup winners Cups and one European Confederation Cup. The Greek Volleyball Federation rewarded her twice for her contribution to the sport. She has been also, a volleyball coach since 2003, mentoring teams in all national divisions, for the youth and junior women national teams and for the woman national team (assistant coach) and during the past two years, she worked in youth and junior volleyball developmental projects of National Federation. Furthermore, she has been teaching at the Hellenic Volleyball Coaches’ School from 1998 till 2013. She has attended a lot of International congress and she has taught in a lot of seminars in Greece and abroad. She is the author of many papers in her scientific field and she has written books about volleyball and volleyball in school.
