Eleni Efthimiou

Kyriaki Vasilaki holds a PhD in Linguistics (Department of Philology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). Her PhD thesis focuses on prosodic system of Greek Sign Language. She also holds a Master’s degree in Sign Language linguistics (Radboud University Netherlands) and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics (Department of Mediterranean Studies-University of the Aegean). Kyriaki is a native Greek Sign Language user and holder of Greek Sign Language Certificate. Kyriaki is a research associate at the Institute for Language & Speech Processing (ILSP)/ ‘Athena’ R.C. since 2014 and she has participated in European and national projects in the fields of 3D languages processing and sign language data annotation.
