Russia. In 2014 he completed a Visiting Professor internship at Washington State University with a Fulbright scholarship / CAPES Visiting Scholar. He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Itajubá and Coordinator of the Nucleus of Excellence in Thermoelectric and Distributed Generation - NEST. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Thermoelectric Generation, working mainly on the following topics: thermo-chemical conversion of biomass, cogeneration, solar thermal energy, thermoelectric power plants, thermoelectric generation and life cycle analysis - ACV.
