E. J. Rinne

Eero Rinne received the M.Sc. (Tech.) degree in space technology from the Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki, Finland, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2011. He has been leading the Polar Oceanography and Sea Ice Research Group, Finnish Meteorological Institute, Helsinki, since 2013. His scientific career has concentrated on satellite remote sensing of the cryosphere, including terrestrial snow, glaciers, and sea ice. Dr. Rinne is a member of the Mission Advisory Group for future Copernicus mission CRISTAL.
