Edwin Trevathan, M.D., M.P.H. is the Amos Christie Chair in Global Health and Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Vanderbilt. He has held leadership positions at the U.S. CDC, Wash Univ in St. Louis, Saint Louis Univ, and Baylor Univ. His research has focused on child health, disorders of the developing brain, epilepsy, and global health. Current projects include task-shifted care to reduce the epilepsy treatment gap in Africa, epidemiology of epilepsy in Africa, and health diplomacy.
