个人简介
My teaching philosophy is to combine theoretical concepts with practical skills. In statistics, students often miss the forest when lecturers focus on individual trees. At Cambridge, I overhauled undergraduate practicals with an approach that focusses on statistical theory and interpretation. Because I believe all students benefit from programming experience, I combine theory with practical skills in Matlab, Python, or R, and have written textbooks on Python (2016) and on C# and Unity (to be published in 2020).
