I have graduated at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb. As a young physician I worked in the emergency service. I administered first aid to the injured in traffic accidents. Therefore, I had the opportunity to see how traffic participants can be suddenly seriously injured and how these injuries may lead to fatal consequences. My specific interests in the field of injury control are to analyze the reasons for injuries to which traffic participants are subjected, especially to analyze human factors, with special reference to single age groups.
