E. Verstraelen

Elise Verstraelen is a member of the Nuclear Spectroscopy and Nuclear Reactions Group at the Institute for Nuclear and Radiation Physics (IKS, KU Leuven). She is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Piet Van Duppen. Her research interests lie in the field of nuclear physics, and specifically in (in-gas-jet) laser ionization spectroscopy on the (super)heavy elements, viz. thorium, actinium and nobelium.
