Bio

E. Fredd was previously with RCA (now Lockheed Martin) working in aerospace equipment development. During his tenure at RCA, he was responsible for designing image processing systems and communication equipment for space exploration and reconnaissance and communication satellites. He has been with the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, Princeton, NJ, as a Technical Manager for the RF Engineering group since 1984. His research interests include microwave-based plasma diagnostics up to 290 GHz and high-power RF and microwave plasma heating systems with output powers up to 2 MW.
