E David Reedy

E. David Reedy, Jr. received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in 1972, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, in 1977. He has been with Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM, since 1976, and he is a staff member in the Engineering Sciences Center. His current research interests include crack nucleation, fracture of patterned interfaces, contact mechanics, and fracture of MEMS materials. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and The Adhesion Society.
