I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Core Researcher in the Institute of Advanced Materials at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico. Currently, my research is focused on the mechanics of additively manufactured metamaterials and architected materials. Additionally, I still work on the mechanics of movement in robotics, including parallel and compliant mechanisms.
